Hi

We have recently returned from a 10 day motorhome trip.

We flew down to Italy and collected a brand new motorhome and then drove it back (via lots of interesting places)
The airline were brilliant and the airport support service for disabled travelers was also excellent.

The company offered the trip at a good rate as their new motorhomes are made in Italy.

We wondered if I could cope as we normally holiday in an adapted caravan. We had to take my wheelchair and a coolbag with all my drugs, needles, nebulizer etc etc.
Getting in and out of the motorhome was quite an effort, because of the height, once inside it was reasonably easy to move around.

As part of the trip we made a short (5 minute video) which we have entered in a competition run by the motorhome company. We decided to use a bear with the logo of the company as the main star, the perspective (from my wheelchair) seemed bear height!!

Hi Anne
Glad the holiday was good. I loved the film, brilliant!

I've just returned from Spain and the airport were wonderful with the assistance. I had a wheelchair both ways and i felt like the queen going first for security and getting on the plane!
On the way back i had 3 assistents and my daughter laughed that i looked like i had security with me!! Still you have to laugh or else you would cry! I had such bad stomach pains on the way back that i forced a smile.

Enjoy the lovely weather we are having here.

Love Shirley x

Hi Anne

What a super way to travel. I am glad you had a great holiday.

I loved the film. It was very interesting. My friend has just come back from Holland and has been talking about the Keukenhof gardens so it was nice to see a video of them. They look beautiful.

Love Sheila x

Brilliant Anne, :)

Lot of places there i had actually worked in when i was working in Europe installing Telephone exchanges .. hadn't seen the Brenner pass before as we normally used the Mont Blanc Tunnel and nipped through France..and omg my still camera would have been very over used .. from the Italian Cathedrals to the flower festival.
Even the traffic jams and the Dartford bridge would have signified that i was home :)

Hi

Thank you for your very kind comments.

It was such a fun holiday and any reservations we had because of my health were proved to be groundless.

Mind you before I started the Tocizulimab we would not have considered it.

Hi

What a fantastic video, it looks like you and the bear had a great time. It's so great to know that you can still do these exciting things and not let the disease rule your life.

Best Wishes

Sue
